crochet today mag. pattern ripple afghan

I bought the magazine Crochet Today awhile ago and like another person on this forum I liked the Dreamy Ripple Afghan that was in an advertisment in the magazine. I had also gone on the website for Coats and Clark yarns and Modea Dea yarns as well but the afghan pattern was not available on either. I contacted the company and here was their response:

I hope this helps anyone else out there that wanted the pattern for this afghan. Looks like I will be yarn shopping again! Isn't that terrible , LoL.

Thank you for finding this. It looks like a simple ripple afghan - would you recommend this to a beginner who has not been able to master a ripple?

i just read the pattern it seems really easy, but its a bit more complicated than a basic ripple... and different than the ones ive done

I found a simple ripple for her but I gave her both sites so she can decide what to try.

 

I might try this one myself - rather nice and not too much if you know what I mean.
