Holly,

I did a quick google and found one here:

THE KNITTING KNOOK

25 EAST MAIN STREET

MARLTON, NJ 08053

609-985-8042

I have never been...but might be worth a quick trip if you get the time. Marlton is still kinda noth of me about 1/2 hour or more when it's rush hour....I am south of there.

Let me know if you go and if it's worth the trip..I might have to go myself.

Well, I found it.

And they were closed for vacation From the outside it looked cute, couldn't really see anything inside though. They had strange hours & aren't open every day so I would call before making a trip.

Oh well! DH & I ended up staying overnight down there. The move took a lot longer than the guys planned and I was not up to driving home that late. This morning we puttered around to see what was in the area. The AC Moore was much nicer than mine and things were a little less expensive as well! Not fair lol! There is a big shopping center off 73 & 38 (Eastgate I think???) that had EVERYTHING all in once place. I wanna move down there myself!!

Around here we don't start until after Labor Day. This year first day is 9/6. They don't get out until the 3rd week in June, usually somewhere around the 18-20th.

One of my friends lives down in NC, her kids just got their mid-term reports

Our town has one name, 2 zip codes and 3 sections - no-one where I used to live can figure it out. Exit 74 anyone? 77, 63.. :)

I meet with a knitting group in Bricktown once a month, and Lakewood has the "Pine Needlers" if anyone is looking for any local groups.

Exit 117 here! But I used to live in Toms River, so I do know the Forked River area...used to be mostly woods where we went to ride 4-wheelers. Of course I left the area 10 years ago and just recently got back to NJ; TR is as far south as I've been yet, and the changes there are incredible, I don't know what it's like farther down yet, but I bet it's grown.

Hello, Jersey girls!

I grew up in Woodbury and Cinnaminson (South Jersey), and spent all my summers on LBI (Beach Haven).........but now live in East Texas. What I wouldn't give for a real cheesesteak sub and Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpet!

A girl after my own heart. I grew up near Cherry Hill, spent a lot of time in Beach Haven. Infact, use to take vacation there in late Sept. Best time for surf fishing. Hey, Cheesesteaks, Jersey tomatoes and tasty pies. :sigh Maybe next trip home
