Pineapple bookmarks

I love this pattern - I'm planning to make tons more and use them as the bow on Christmas gifts, one red and one green - - - lets see - I only need to make about 17 more green and 20 red - lol The purple is #10 thread and #5 hook as called for in the pattern, the green is a #7 hook.

there's two separate pages...one for the butterfly, one for the bookmark...I adapted the bookmarker part somewhat...but it's just the best butterfly I've seen in a while. I've done it in purple with purple varigated edging...adorable, I even made one without the bookmarker part and put it on a lanyard hook thingy to hang on my purse!
