"Incredible" ribbon yarn--inspiration wanted.

I just finished reading the thread about Lion Brand Yarn but I am going to be daring and post my question anyway.

 

I picked up some Lion Brand Incredible ribbon yarn on a deal at Herrschners online awhile back, and now I am at a loss as to what to do with it. The Lion Brand website has patterns for a scarf and some ponchos, but I would like to try something different. Has anyone here made anything else with this stuff?

I saw a really cool tank top in one of the Crochet Fantasy's magazines. It looked neat.

 

I really think you could try just about anything with it.

 

A shawl...a moibius scarf...a cape...even a skirt or a shirt...

I have some too. I made a scarf so far. you can also do a purse with a liner. or a belt.

I bought a bunch ages ago, and had a hard time working with it at first. I did use it for a bucket hat and it came out GREAT! I gave it to a friend. I'll probably use the rest for more hats - it has a nice sheen to it and it's good for summer/spring hats.

I just bought a purse pattern from maggie's crochet useing incredible yarn..........

The pattern says to use an "I" hook which would make the stitches much tighter so a lineing wouldn't be necessary......

i made a poncho with it, but lion brand also has a book of plus sized patterns that has a pattern for a shrug with incredible...its really cute!
