this is called Wedding Ring bedspread. just wondered if anyone had tried it. I'm thinking yarn myself (of course)

Actually that isn't the same pattern at all. I have seen that one and don't care for the look of it but it might just be the strong colours that get in the way of the quilt- like pattern. From what I remember from my quilting days, that colouration wasn't usual.

 

The one in my link is done it crochet cotton and is very different. The link is also for the pattern, not just that picture.

Yup the colors are weird. I never said it was the same. It's close enough I thought it might give you and idea what it'd look like in yarn rather than thread.

I realize the link you posted was also a pattern. Again I was just trying to be helpful.

I think I am going to try my pattern link for four blocks just to see how it goes. I started with the central floral motifs once but got side tracked with other things. (not that crochetville leads me astray oh noooooo)

 

I have some handicrafter that I can work with still.
