Afghan sizes

can anyone tell me...or maybe there is like a site somewhere, that can tell me how big (in feet/inches) a twin/full/queen/king/lapghan/baby afghan is. well approximately anyway.

Lee Ann, the difference between American and Canadian measurements is that Canadian measurements are Metric, American ones are Imperial. I don't know them all off-hand (I'm Canadian but I was never good at math hehe), but I can tell you that 1 inch= 2.5 centimetres (cm).

 

There are many online conversion charts to help you convert the numbers from Metric to Imperial too (not so hard to find in google )

I'm just wondering if there is a difference in the sizes of the beds themselves.

 

Our double sized bed for instance is 54 inches wide - is that the size in the US as well? i have heard a California King size mentioned somewhere - what would that be?
