Ruffles

Hey everyone! I just got an email from lionbrand and it introduced this new "yarn" that is out called ruffles. I thought the idea was kind of cool and was wondering if anyone has worked with this yet and if so, how did it work out for you?

I read the instructions for how to use that yarn and it sounded like quite a pain. I'm also curious to know if anyone has tried it.

I am soooooo dense... I thought they were talking about the scarf, not the yarn.

 

I am pretty sure I would not want to work with it though.

I saw instructions on how to knit with Ruffles, but not how to crochet with it. Didi I miss something? I got some Voodoo at Dollar Tree and tried crocheting with it, and that was pushing the envelope of my abilities.

I could see putting this on baby clothes, certainly, although it does look like a bit of a pain to use! Maybe just here and there, though ...

im allergic to wool so i wont be going anywhere near this

 

i think the scarf made with it is horrible, it looks like tissue paper around her neck

but i think this yarn would look nice spareingly

I would put it in the pile with the eyelash yarn! Looks like we will be seeing that in the clearance bin soon.

I wonder if any of these companies have crocheters test their yarns before they're put on the market. Lion Brand might have saved a lot of money and marketing dollars if they came to Crochetville!

And not the cheap stuff, either. That Wet Toilet Paper Scarf would cost $23 to make.
