Scarce as hens teeth. I did a huge search for this a couple of months ago. Occasionally you'll see one on eBay, but the bidding is outrageous. But you can get the second book, More Elmore, from the NeedleCraft Cottage in Tennessee.

William (Bill) Elmore came up with some really innovative crochet techniques -- better ways of doing the stuff we do every day. Time-saving, yarn-saving stuff. I have More Elmore, but not the first one, The Elmore Method. The books were put out by Annie's Attic, but they're out of print now and are hard to find.

Alibris dot com has The Elmore Method. Prices start at about $49.00. They may have the others as well, I just searched for that one.

Besides extended stitches, what else did Elmore invent? I've seen the first booklet, and i thought at the time that was about all that was in it---what did i miss?

I have both Elmore books. Each book has new stitches and new procedures for doing foundation rows plus both books have patterns.

I am also looking for a copy of both of Elmores' books. I saw copies on Ebay but they are rather expensive.  Does anyone know of a place where I could find one or both? Thanks so much in advance.

I don't think there is anywhere to buy them for a cheap price, unless you find them at a yard sale or thrift store where the seller didn't know what they have.

Annie's just recently re-released this in a downloadable pdf format that you can buy directly from them for only $9.95.  I got an email about it a week or two ago, and was thinking about getting it myself.
