Ugh... Allergic to Mohair.

I'm another allergic type, but not to fur when it is still on animals. Cats and dogs are no problem, but wool and mohair are. I am also allergic to most antibiotics, which thrills doctors and dentists.

 

I hear ya! I'm allergic to most antibiotics, so my doctor had tons of fun trying to find one I wouldn't react to when I had my daughter. My hubby swears I'm a hypochondriac...but, how do you explain to a person with no allergies at all, what it feels like to have your head feel like a massive mosquito bite?

when working with any fuzzy I wear a mask and light weight gloves might this work for you? good luck

washing and drying wool.....I wash out wool by hand and use a salad spinner to get most of the water and then you can hang the skeins on a hanger using bent paper clips, pushed through several strands and hung on the hanger hope this helps
