LionBrand has a link to a new magazine on their website, but darned if I can find it anywhere else. I must be blind, I'm not finding a thing on the BH&G website. :th

Bernat has a mention of a 'new' magazine coming out on October 7th or 8th, but with a picture of last years issue so I don't know if that is the proper date or not.

I haven't seen it any where else either, but I haven't checked at Barnes and Noble or AC Moore yet. I checked the BH&G website, too, and only found info on the last issue.

Hi ladies! The new issue is expected to hit newsstands on Oct. 7, but I have heard that it's already in some Walmarts. :woohoo People who ordered it by calling BH&G's 800 number already got it. I've heard good things about it. If the patterns inside are anything like the 16 free ones on the LB Web site, it should be a great magazine!!! :D

I found mine at Walmart this weekend. Very nice patterns! I love the Lily Chen ice cream sweater. I may try that one out for me! :D

I got mine today at Target. :) I found the Woman's Day in their magazine section and while in line to check out I saw in their racks around the register CROCHET. :yay Ah, the joys of leaving a store with two never before seen crochet magazines. :cloud9

I had found this at Barnes and Noble on Saturday, but had to wait until today to buy a copy! (Didn't have enough cash on me, no ATM card or blank checks! Had to wait to hit the credit union for some cash... LOL)

I <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/rowofhearts.gif" /> that car coat! I picked up a copy for a coworker as well, and that was the first thing she said that she would make out! LOL I also love the strawberry sweater with matching hat for a "baby" girl. Too cute!!!

I bought mine yesterday at Target. Wow!

There are at least 20 things in here that I want to do.

In fact, I am working on that BEAR right now. :nana

I'm still waiting impatiently for mine, the only crochet mag in our whole stinkin walmart supercenter is Interweave Crochet which I've already bought. I know I like the blue hooded jacket on the cover, LB Colorwaves I think. I would adore wearing that!! :)h

Is anyone going to try the sheep in there?

I've never done a stuffed animal before and I'm scared <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/chicken.gif" />

I was thinking a little version would be adorable. If I wanted to be masochistic, could I follow the same directions, but use thread and a steel hook???

I'm working on the lamb right now, Holly. :)) This is my first time at a stuff animal also. I'm using the Jiffy Fisherman that it calls for and the mohair look really gives it an adorable sheepy/furry look. I've been surprised at how easy the pattern is to follow and how quickly it's working up. I'm almost through with the body and if I didn't wander between projects, I would probably be done with the crocheting (not assembling) by now. I bet that with a little patience you could make it with a smaller hook and thread.

This is the only photo I have of it - it's on the left -

Cool!

Thanks! It's looking great so far <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/clap.gif" />

The other crazy idea I had was to make it with real wool and full it, but then I figured it might not shrink the right ways.

Your welcome and thanks, Holly! :hug

I don't know how the bobbles would look fulled, but it might be worth swatching and trying out. :thinking1 My greatest fear is doing the embroidery work for the eyes. I don't understand the stitches they're describing. :thinking2 I should be able to find stitch instructions somewhere on the internet though. :computer
