Hair color

Has anyone tried it? It might be a cool way to get those deep russets that might be hard with Kool-Aid, or how about henna hair color?

 

of course it might be creepy to have a hat or scarf that matched your hair,

Wow, I have never even thought of that. I really have no clue how it would turn out, but I can't imagine that it wouldn't work. I know I have stains on my "dyeing T-shirts" from when I colored my hair.

 

Like Kool-Aid, I would bet you would have better results on animal protien fibers (wools), since hair would be an animal protein fiber. I do remember kids in high school that would dye their hair with kool-aid, and as I remember it took a lot of Kool-Aid, and it didn't "take" very well.

 

If anyone has done this (or decided to try it!) please let us know. Now I'm all curious!
