Check Your Gauge?

Recommended Posts

:ohdear No, not for everything. If I'm making something where size is :eek critical, like clothing; I check. For a dishcloth or scrap afghan :shrug My scrapgans tend to be works in progress till I have enough scraps to finish anyway; so it doesn't really matter to me. Now, for a planned afghan, that's another story. I'll check gauge sometimes to see if I'm in the same neighborhood, or at least one that won't need more yarn, lol.

It is so nice that I am not alone in this!! Relieved, LOL! I was feeling like a bad crocheter! :knit I only check for wearables and complicated afghan

patterns. I never check for assessories either .

:think gauge? what's that? :think

Rarely - I'm too excited about the project to see if it will actually fit! :devil

Though I do end up frogging because of size issues at times - ;)

I only check gauge on wearables, like baby clothing and tops and sweathers 'n' stuff like that. For afghans, scarves, bags and things like that....I do not check my gauge.
