Those projects are all well worth the wait to see them. I especially love the rose afthan, what a great job you did on it! <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/cheerleader.gif" />

I really liked your rose afghan. The colors in it was beautiful. Was wondering where you got the pattern? I've been wanting to try the tunsian stitch.

Joy, that pattern came from an old pamphlet that my grandmother gave me about 10 years ago. I don't think I have it anymore, 'cuz I can't find it anywhere. Here is a link to learn how to do the basic stitch tutorials.crochetcabana.c...nisian.htm

Once you've finished, any simple x-stitch chart could be used on the piece (this site has tips for that, too).

Small world, Rebecca, that we should both inherit the same pattern from our grandmothers. The pattern isn't that difficult really (1st project I ever made actually). The biggest problem was the boredom factor in making the aran strips. If I didn't pay attention, I lost stitches here and there and then had to frog until I could fix it. :P

Rebecca -

What magazine is it from because my MIL has a lot of old '70s magazines and maybe I could see if she has one.
