Question
Bookchick29
I am working on the Cathedral Window pattern and there is a section where you are working with alternating 2 different colors. Rather than fasten off at the end of each section (which is only 5-6 stitches long), the pattern suggests that you carry the extra strand along until you need it again. I understand what this means and am having no trouble doing this. My question is if anyone has suggestions for keeping the two strands of yarn from getting twisted up as you move the strands back and forth to alternately work them?
What I've been doing is to stop crocheting after working about half of a round and then unraveling the strands - but is there an easier way to keep them from getting wound together in the first place?
I hope what I'm asking makes sense.
Thanks!
