How to book

Does anyone know of a "learn to crochet" type book for a child around 8? My neighbors daughter is trying to learn to crochet, her mother crochets some but in basic stitches. So I thought if there is a "simple-easy to read" learn to crochet book out for the reading ability of an 8 year old I would get it for her. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.:hook

Leisure Arts "Teach Me To Crochet" is a good 'how to" book. This book has very good pictures and instructions for 14 projects for kids to make. This book is great because photographs are used and there are photos for each new lesson for both right- and left-handed people.

I like that book also. It has very good explanations and illustrations for what you are trying to learn how to do. And the projects are geared toward kids. I gave this book to my dd and my niece.

Both are now learning to do bigger projects. They got a good start from this book.
