How many hooks do you own?

I have not counted all of my hooks but I would guess that it is close to 25 or more.

Without doing a formal count, I'd say around 75. Boye hooks are my favorites, and I have a full set of steel and aluminum hooks. I also have a fair number of Susan Bates (my least favorite) and the set of bigger Crystalite hooks. A friend's mother gave me a near complete set of Bernat Aero plastic hooks - don't know when those were made, but I love them! I recently inherited my grandma's hodge-podge of hooks, and I've picked up other random hooks here and there.

 

I try to rotate through and use different ones, but I use the Boyes most often. For me the yarn never splits with them!

My husband turns all my hooks on a lathe from exotic woods. I have 15 so far and bugging him for more!
