Which one is the best to go with? I'm looking for a free Blog host site that lets me have lots of great features. What does everyone recommend?

i don't know much about html either and i started on blogger, but i found it difficult to add certain buttons and links to the sidebar so i switched to wordpress which has a great drag and drop feature.

I've tried them both, and they both have drawbacks. I can't get "catagories" to work on wordpress, even though I created a widget, and with blogger, you need to know a LOT of HTML. I'm looking into MSN now.

I really came to hate Blogger, and spent a lot of time looking around for a new blog site. I found that Wordpress now hosts blogs for free at wordpress.com. You can have as many blogs as you want, and they have loads of features. Nice templates, an active help forum, and lots of other goodies.

Here are some popular options:

http://www.blogger.com

http://www.xanga.com

http://www.livejournal.com

http://www.360.yahoo.com

I used to have a blog at blogger but a lot of people spammed it so I shut it down. I currently use yahoo 360, it's easier to use than blogger but not neccessary convenient. If you're really into HTML and CSS and really want to design your blog from the tee then it's not for you. However, if you just need a user-friendly blog then I recommend yahoo 360

In WordPress you need to create your categories first. Then when you post, you need to checkbox the category you want your post to be in and it will automatically appear. That's what I did to get categories. You are probably on to MSN now though. How's that working out for you? I thought I would post this just as an FYI for anyone who is interested.

I used blogdrive for so many blogs but thought, for my blog, I would try blogger. Now, with all the cool stuff I have heard about WP (my inner computer geek is geeking), I kinda' wish I went that route instead..

But - blogger will probably end up being great as I spend more time on my HTML stuff.
