Looking for a flag pillow pattern

LadyBeBop

Question

100_09361.jpg

Before I get banned or worst, :2blush let me explain.

This is my picture of a pillow I crocheted about 20 years ago as a Christmas present to my MIL. She still has it, and I think she wants a companion to it.

Of course, I don't have the pattern anymore. :oopsBut I'm pretty sure it's from one of the House of White Birches publications, and as I said earlier, it's about 20 years old.

Can anyone help? :P

If you can not get your pattern again, but still want to make it.....can't you kinda work out the pattern from the original? If not.... Like rsisland said.....it may be e-bay is the way to go..............

Ebay did have a pattern like this some time ago, except the trim was white, not red. If I knew about it, I might have bid on it.

Apparently, it's not the same pattern though.

You are allowed to change to a color you prefer, you know. ;)

I think it wouldn't be that hard to find a basic heart pillow pattern and just follow the color changes from your orginal.

Obviously don't use fun fur on this one:

Leave off the weaving on this one:

This one is the right shape (heart) but not worked bottom up/top down so you might not want this one:

Follow the edging too or add one you want:

I think I have that pattern in an OLD Crochet World magazine. When I get to work tomorrow I'll check....I have it in storage and just looked thru those magazines today.

OKAY,

Kill me now. :scared I don'thave it. I looked thru everyone one of those books and magazines. But what I DID find was a pillow EXACTLY like it except it doesn't have the colors....it's peach with lace trim. If that's good enough I can send you a photo of it and you can let me know if you want the book. It's one of those old crochet fast n easy books from Summer 1986. It's the same pillow I swear....just one color instead of three. I'm sure you can figure out how to incorporate your colors....I'm sorry I swore I had it...but the pillow I saw had ...:blush LOL an American Eagle on it LOL...it was red white and blue though....lol...I guess when I was looking at those books seeing that and the heart pillow made me think I saw your pillow....uh...yeah, that's it LOL

I hope this shows up...This pillow is much smaller than yours so ....it's NOT yours but I wanted you to see that I DID see that pillow...You never responded to my original post so I take it that you didn't want the other pattern either. If you want this book let me know
