Are there any crochet magazines out there that you really like, and please tell me why. I have pciked up a few along the way - but have no been overly impressed one way or the other. Would love to hear about what you read! Thanks!

I have subscribed at one time or another to pretty much every magazine that has existed in my lifetime. I have never been overly pleased with any of them (at the time). I might find just one or two items in a magazine that thrill me. But I put them away and guess what? Sometimes years later I will be looking through them and I'll see something that didn't thrill me before that I so totally HAVE to make! Some focus more on baby things, some adult wearables, and others things for the kitchen or home. You might choose based on overall content. But you will be adding handsomely to your crochet library. Right now I subscribe to Crochet! and Crochet Fantasy, but haven't seen anything in the last 6 months that I've wanted to make.

My favorite is Interweave Crochet which now comes out twice a year, Spring & Fall. I like the feel of the magazine, the colors they use, the designs are nice and they use all different types of yarns. I feel it's a high quality publication.

Where do you find this magazine at? My local book stores do not stock good crochet magazines - so I am wondering if you are aware of a web site. Thanks

My local Barnes and Noble has a pile of the latest Interweave Crochet issue. I was just there within the past hour and that's when I saw it.

As a thread worker, very few crochet magazines have anything that I would want to make (to have, yes; to make, no). The recent incarnations of Magic and Decorative Crochet are my favorite magazines and I subscribe to both.

I Like Decorative And Magic Crochet Magazines, Because They Have Diagrams, Since I Do Not Know Crochet Terms In English I Can Follow Diagrams Easier. If I Like Something From Other Magazines Has Only Verbal Descriptions, I Have To Figure The Whole Pattern Just By Looking And It Is Little Difficult,

Those Two Magazines Has Many Patterns For Thinner Threads That I Really Enjoy To Crochet.
