This is a great site. they have all kinds of beads and gems, etc. I thought the prices were pretty good. I bought some beads that were called out for a beaded scarf from Crochet magazine a few issues ago.

 

The FREE catalog they send you is just awesome - it is so big.

I've been shopping from Fire Mountain for years. You can get on their e-mailing list and they send out a weekly listing of sale items. The prices are good and the items go fast so if there is something on sale you want, you need to grab it.

 

While we're on the subject of jewelry supplies, there is another company, called Rings & Things, that also has wonderful merchandise. They do an annual travelling bead show, where they set up tons of stuff, usually in a Hotel conference room. They say they are wholesale only, but I know they will let anyone come in and shop, even without a tax ID#... they will just charge tax on what you buy. Here is a listing of their upcoming shows:

The shows are free to enter, and definitely worthwhile if you want to stock up on jewelry supplies... mainly beads... tons and tons of beads

ive been wanting to order from them for years but they dont easily ship to the uk. I once looked into it but i would have to order a LOT to make it worthwhile :s

Its a really great site though, and if anyone in the UK wants beads i would recommend constellation beads

Ahhhh... I missed the Richmond one by just 8 days! Thanks for the recommendation, though. I will check them out in the future! (and it's probably good for my checkbook that I did miss it!!)

OMG Went to the Rings and Things web site and they have a show coming to Cleveland, OH in Sept. It is less than 5 minutes from my house - I am in just so much trouble now.
