Preemie Items - What is the "Best" Charity?

Hello,

I can make darling teeny tiny booties, what is the "best" preemie group to donate to, and are these really needed? thanks,

I suggest you contact your nearest hospital that has a "preemie" ward. Some have very specific needs and desires, some will take whatever they can get. also what you consider preemie might not even be close. A two pound preemie is about the length of your hand, finger tip to wrist. A bootee might be a finger nail in length. I suggest your local hospital because there would be no mailing costs......use the money for more wool!!!!!!! 'my' hospital wants dark afghans to put over the incubators to keep out the light; I've not heard of any other hospital requesting these. Some even give out free patterns.
