ISO Potholder Patterns sources.

Hi everyone.

 

I hate to say it but I'm taking a doily break and for some reason making a couple thread potholders. I was looking of Ebay and came upon a couple actual vintage potholders listed. Well I fell in love with both or better yet, I am no obsessed with making them. You'd think with the 6 or so vintage potholder books that I have that I would have these two old patterns. Nope, :'( :'( not a one. I've spent some time on Ebay looking for these potholder patterns but didn't find them. I'm found some similiar ones for the dress but I didn't like the style. Most dresses have the sleeves from the shoulder to skirt/waist. This one the sleeve is halfway down. It just wasn't the same or as cute. As for the square, I didn't find any pattern for it on Ebay. Has anyone here ever seen these two vintage potholders in a pattern book? If so, do you know the title of the book. I haven't given up on Ebay but knowing the title of the books they are in wouold make my mission a bit easier. Here are the two potholders that I've become obsessed with.

Thank you for the links. I've seen some of these before and I think that I almost might be able to make the 2 potholders with the photos and links that you have sent. Hopefully someday these actual patterns will show up.
