I just wanted to let you know that I used this patter to make a scarf, but never made it to the ruffled part. The lady who I was making it for loved the "cabled" look so much on the base pattern that she decided she wanted it left like that.

 

I will post pictures of it as soon as I get a chance, but I wanted to let you know!

Depends on the length you want. I used Caron Simply Soft. One skein will get you a shorter length but I would suggest 2 skeins.

this is a very lovely scarf I have been trying to make it but it doesn't look wide enough and my BLDC and FLDC don't really look like loops. I really don't see the pattern. any help would be appreciated.

Is the front loop the front loop of the top of the stitch, as opposed to the post or a piece of the front of the post??
