I just borrowed this book from the library and fell in :manyheart with it. There are so many things in here that I want to make. Has anyone made any of them? I say 2 other treads that talked about this book but they looked a little old so I was hopeing to get a little bit of an update. Here's what I've picked to make so far.

  • Glittering Gold~ don't knoe for who yet but I :manyheart the way it looks
  • All Stripes~ just to have
  • Sunny Days tank Top ~ just to have
  • Sunshine Blocks~ :manyheart making blankets
  • Absolutely precious~ for my friends little girl
  • Baby dreams
  • Around The Block Afghan~ for my stepfather who is sick
  • Trendy Top~

maybe i should just buy the book :blush :blush

I got mine on a free preview and didn't care for it too mch. Isn't it neat how we all see different things when we look at a pattern? Will love to see how your projects turn out!!!

I had requested that book from my library, but when it was finally my turn a couple of months later; I was already in the middle of a few other projects. I did like the sunny days top. I hope to get the book another time!

I also borrowed a copy of that book from the library and saw a few things in it that I put on my list. I would like to try the chenille blanket because it looks easy and fast. And the baby sweater set is very cute.

It's nice to have your own copy when you have that many things you like, though I always borrow a book from the library about three times before I get around to buying it...:)

I had seen the book first in Barnes & Noble but didn't want to spend full price so when it was available discounted on Amazon, I bought it. Since I like to sit outside when the weather gets warmer and crochet, I am doing small projects that don't cover my lap. Anyway, I just completed the Lovely Lid hat on pg 66, but used two strands of regular worsted weight and a J hook (I tend to work looser so sometimes I have to go down a size or two). Came out really nice, then I did my own version of a matching scarf. But there are others in that book, I am going to do, I just add them to the lists I make from all my other books.

Have fun!!!

I love that book too. I just finished Absolutely Precious and it is so cute. I did it in a varigated and it turned out just great. The book is definately worth it.

do you have a pic of it? I love to see what it looks like finished. You know some things look better in the book than they do in person.

I just might have to go buy some yarn this weekend to start on the blanket for my step-father.

That is my absolute favorite crochet book. I find I've been able to make use of several patterns. I've crocheted two of the summer tank tops for myself, the baby blanket for my niece's little arrival, and a few other things. My only complaint is that the projects tend to take more time than they say, but I just figure that in, now.

Hi - I love that book too! I bought it from overstock.com I've just finished 2 of the Absolutely Precious sets (you can see them on my blog). I'm definitely making the tank top fr myself soon, and maybe another item or too. Can't wait to see what you make first
