Needle Felting

Has anyone ever tried "needle felting" on their crocheted felted bags? I just bought a kit the other day and love it. You can make any kind of a design you like right on the bag by simply poking unspun yarn with a special needle down in the bag. You can even use WW yarn or Fun Fur

You can also needle felt two felted items together if you have a rough needle and a whole lot of patience:lol

I have made quite a few needle felted creatures...but have never felted on my purses...good idea!

Make sure you are paying total attention to what you are doing when needle felting. Those needles are sharp and break easily. I think needle felting works best on natural animal fibers. I have done some "sculptures" a bunny holding a heart and a few other things. It si fun as long as you don't poke yourself.
