Upcoming Book

My sister works at Wiley Publishing (they of Crocheting for Dummies and Knitting for Dummies), and she just sent me the promo for a new book to be published November 13, 2006: Crochet Patterns for Dummies by Susan Brittain. The promo material includes the line "Up-to-date patterns are of major importance to the Craft Yarn Council of America survey respondents, as only 47% said they were "very satisfied" with up-to-date patterns available at their primary yarn retailer." They're listening, gang, they're listening!! Keep tellin' 'em what we want!! I have no idea what the content of the book will be, but sis is getting me a copy, so I'll let you know this fall what I think.

That's good to know. We need more crochet books. Seems most of what I see out there is for knitting.
