Little Mouse Pattern

178 posts in this topic

I'm printing up this one and the mushroom one (as long as that's ok, I tend to put little pencil marks next to the lines I complete to know where I am. I have 3 kids worth of distractions LOL.) Hopefully I can start making them soon. :D

Here's my mouse - but I think it's really a rat. I apparently was mixed up between US and UK terminology and ended up doing the entire thing in double crochet. It actually worked pretty well, except I had to double the length of the tail.

Next I'll have to try and make it a little friend!

Great work on the rat!!!! I am sure I would have made the same error on the US/UK stitches there,,,,,but the other was around in my case.

I'm sorry if this has been answered, if it has been I did not see it.

I'm in the process of separating patterns into items I can sell vs those I can't.

If I make these guys, can I sell them? Mostly I just want to buy more yarn, or sell at fundraisers and the like. I'm talking about completed mice and not the pattern (I would never sell someone's pattern, obviously).

Thanks for sharing this and other patterns, you've given me faith in my ability to make a toy!

Thank you for that permission, and thank you for the wonderful patterns.

It was funny to me that I asked for permission and minutes later read another thread about this very topic.

I tried to make this little guy last night. I shorten the tail to make him a hamster. I think I made a few mistakes, cause he is kind of short and round. But I like how it turned out. I'm to try again later.

Thank you KristieMN for sharing the great pattern.

Here he is

First of all, Kristie, kudos for the adorable pattern and second, what a cute little chubby hamster! I love it! I was thinking of making one for Kaleigh and stuffing it with Cat nip....but also, I would have to make one for me as well...sans catnip:lol

Thank you so much for this patten.

I made him for my first crochet project and your

instructions were so clear that I had no trouble making him.

When I'm allowed I'll post a pic of him.
