My weekend project; a shawl

Made this one while visiting my youngest daughter last weekend. It's a pattern from Garnstudio, you can find it here:http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/visoppskrift.php?d_nr=95&d_id=38〈=en

 

I made a few changes and crocheted it in a cotton-blend yarn; Svale from Dale of Norway. In a pale lilac color, not blue as it seems like in the picture. Quite pleased with how it turned out, and I guess it will look even better when I get it blocked.

Very pretty! I'm in the hunt for the perfect shawl pattern myself, and when I saw that one, I wasn't too impressed. But yours is soooo much prettier than the one in the webpage photo. I'll have to look at that one again. (My friend is trying to convince me that my meager knitting skills are up to one on the elann website; she's offered to make one for her SIL at the same time so I can get some help.) Patty
