I just posted in the babies & children show-n-tell, but thought I'd do it here, too, since this is where I saw the original pattern.

 

I made the doggie for my friend's newborn baby boy. Obviously, he's too small to play with toys, now, but maybe it'll be nice decoration for the crib and he can enjoy it in a few months.

thank you so much for sharing this. i was actually just looking for a dog pattern such as this one for my oldest daughter. she LOVES stuffed animal doggies and I really want to make her one.

Cindy, I fill all my stuffed animals with fiberfill. You can buy it at the craft stores.
