Hi theworm. Yeah, breaking up a larger project with multiple smaller projects does keep the larger project from being too intimidating. I'm using that principle with the 63 sq afghan. The downside is that there are so many smaller projects that the 63 sq may be getting a less attention than it wants.

Hi Cloke. For me the 63 square is a smaller project. Or at least that is how I look at it. I treat each square as a project so it is going very quickly. I started Monday night, and have 12 squares done.
