Blogger question re: links

I read about how to do the link field to make something on your post/title link to something else but can't seem to actually DO it. Can anyone explain to me or help me?

 

Example: I wanted to link to another person's blog and just say "check out Jane's blog" and have "Jane's be linked to her blog.

You want to put this there but with out the *

 

Text Goes Here

 

Be sure to replace the address with "jane's" URL. And the "text goes here" with "Check Out Jane's Blog".

 

That's the most simpliest way to do it.
