doggie

I made this from a Japanese Amigurumi book. I bought the book to do a monkey and had no intention of crocheting this dog. My 19 month old son loooove looking at the book and every time he got to the page with the dog, he'd bark and point and laugh. He would look at that page forever and wasn't interested in the rest of the book. Sooo.....

My only concern is that he's durable enough to last my son a while. This is only the 3rd thing I've ever crocheted, so I hope he holds up!!

He's adorable! You did a really good job on him. I have been crocheting for 17+ years and still am intimidated by the faces on amigurumi. (I'm working on Reecies' turtle right now...) He's cute (your dog, that is). If anyone is interested, Lene just opened a Small Toy Swap and I think there's still room for more people....
