I now have all 15 squares! I'm working on putting them together today. I have to have it finished by the 9th! I'd like to have it finished by Sunday in order to display it at church before the actual auction.

It's a bit more of a challenge than I expected. I'm having to make some adjustments to some of the squares and still I'm nervous that they are actually going to fit together properly.

Right now I'm printing out a pattern so that I can make a bit of adjustment on one of the squares.

Well... it's finished! Here is a picture of the completed project. It will be auctioned this evening and the proceeds will be donated to the fund for our new church building.

Thanks so much ladies! I'm so happy to be able to share this with you.

I'm pretty pleased with it. I really was a bit overconfident though. I thought that I could bring it together a little better than I did. The difference in the squares was more of a challenge than I thought. As you can probably see, a few of the squares don't lay exactly flat. (And I'm a perfectionist so that bothers me.) Overall, I'm satisfied with it but I don't really think it is something I'll do again.

 

I was hoping to raise $100 with it. We raised $127! So it was certainly worth it.
