That shawl is simply stunning!! Great work and the detail is awesome! It's truly an heirloom. How long did it take?

 

Thanks for the compliments everyone. The pattern is actually 36 hexagons. It is a fairly easy sc and ch stitch pattern. The part that took the longest was stitching it all together and adding the fringe. It took me awhile to finish because I kept getting distracted by other projects.
