I'm guessing with worsted weight and an H-hook, gauge will probably be around 4 stitches per inch so 50 across will be around 12.5" making the chest about 25" around. I measured my wiggly baby and I think I come up with about 18.5 for her (7-months old). I also measured a sweater that fits her and it's about 23" so maybe your sweater will be 12 months?

Actually it says any fingering weight yarn. Most sweater patterns I have seen like this (with zipper up the back) are for newborn to 3 months. Because after that your baby can sit up (with support) and it is easier to get them in and out of sweaters. But since she doesn't list a size it is only a guess. I think the only thing to do, to be sure, is to contact her.
