I am new to crocheting, I taught myself from a book when i was pregnant two years ago. I am practicing double crochets now and always looking for new things to try.

Thankies for the welcomes! My first project is a blanket for my son's new big boy bed. It is a royal blue and white striped blanket that I am doing in 3 dc stripes. So far I have two stripes almost done.

some virgin! (hehe) It is a fantastic hobby, and you will be glad you took the time to learn. It has all the satisfaction of having a baby, but without the discomfort of pregnancy!
