sammimag Posted February 13, 2006 I made this for my daughter at her request. I found some patterns on line for inspiration then I kind of made it up as I went along. I plan on writing up a pattern when I get a chance. Ds asked me to make him one too after he saw this one. I think it turned out okay. Dd did the embroidery for the face after I gave up because I wasn't happy with how I was doing it. She's pleased with it. Now, she wants me to make it a poncho and a skirt for the cat. I use Carron Simply Soft Black and a size F hook. Samantha

sammimag Posted February 15, 2006 He (or is it a she?) is cute! (meow) Tina Her name is Ella inspired by Ella Enchanted my dd's favorite book. I finished one for my son on Valentines day. The red colored legs are purely coincidence because red is my son's favorite color. I think it does makes the cat a perfect Valentines gift. His is a girl too he hasn't named her yet. He asked for a Poncho all red but wanted a hole for the tail to come out. Here's Ella with her new Poncho:
