Introducing myself

Hi all,

 

I've been lurking for some time, and have been reading many of your blogs. You've all inspired me so much with your crochet-a-longs that I've purchased some Kroy sock yarn and some books with sock patterns in them. Once I finish my current project (a ripple baby afghan) I'm crocheting socks!!

 

I'm thirty-something, live in the Bronx, NY, am single, have a cat named Julie, and have been crocheting on and off for the past ten or so years (mostly "on" for the past year). I learned how to crochet from a book, but I learn something new with each new project I create.

 

Can't wait to get to know all of you better!

Yes, Rebecca, there really *is* a place called the Bronx. Hehe. I'm a native New Yorker, but have only been living in the Bronx since February. Definitely a unique experience.

 

Julie, LOL. Hey, it's a lovely name... what can I say??

 

Now I'm off to crochet for a bit... So close to finishing this baby ghan that I can taste it!
