Pet Peeve-People saying knitting when it is really crocheted.

The few times this has happened to me I usually just reply " I can't knit to save my life, this is crochet, it goes alot faster!"

I really don't care if someone mistake my crocheting for knitting. I don't expect everyone to know about crafting.

I must agree with Empress Busy Bee:yes , who can know everything? And if people mistake your crocheting for knitting:knit, well, just who is going to inform them?????? Basketball players??? We Must.....with a "thank you very much for your interest, and BTW this is actually crocheting not knitting" , or like Burgandy has just said, "I can't knit to save my life, this is crocheting....etc."Said with a smile, how can it offend???? Why focus on negativity??
