Hi I just found this board

This looks like a nice place to hang out. I've been crocheting now for 14 years or so. I am a stay at home mom of four boys so that keeps me quite busy. Recently I've been making sweaters( in bright primary colors) for my toddler, My great niece, My nephew and my niece. The problem I am running into is that they are all so cute( the sweaters, that I wanna keep them all for my own little one. I made two of them using the basic raglan sweater instructions I found on the web, and this has become my new favorite way to make sweaters. One of them is a narrow multi colored striped pullover type sweater with a collar and front pocket, the other raglan sweater is a wide striped hooded pullover. The other two are my own make it up as you go along patterns that turned out better than I expected. One of them is a purple pullover I made using the aligned shell stitch found in that 63 stitch pattern book and the other is a pull over using small squares of red, blue, yellow, and green, joined together with purple and then striping the sleaves in the same color pattern with purple cuffs, waist and neckbands. I am currently working on an off- white and Silver striped raglan sweater for myself and a sage green tunic length sweater that is a conbination of two different sweater patterns that I liked elements of so I just sort of crammed them into a crochet project. Well that's me and what I've been crocheting lately. Hope to get to know you all. Sonny

Sonny! I've never tried sweaters before, but they sound fun. (I'm a "threadie"...doilies, flowers, lighter clothing, stuff like that. )
