Deciphering Descriptions

Recommended Posts

So, I've been crocheting hyperbolic models for my math teacher (Not as an assignment, I just think he'll enjoy them) and I've been using this website as my guide. But go ahead and read the descriptions. I tell you, deciphering what non-crocheters mean from their descriptions is not only a measure of patience, but it's pretty danged amusing too! :lol

Wow... looking at the models, I get the distinct feeling that I'm beginning to understand what's wrong with some of the doily patterns I've been working on.

:P

Thanks for posting! What a neat project!

  • 4 months later...

There was a pattern in the Spring Interweave Crochet magazine. I think I've also seen patterns online too...

There's other threads around here about them too, with links, I think.
