My name is Shawna and I have been watching this board for a few days now and have joined today. I'm 17; live in Ohio; have a 6 week old son; and have been crocheting since I was 9. I was taught by my step-grandmother who passed away when I was 13. I crochet as a way to connect with her and remember her. I would consider myself an advanced crocheter if that doesn't sound too conceited. I'll see you all around the boards

:wave Hi Shawna! No, advanced isn't conceited...it's great. I wish I was advanced! I'm not a beginner (I've been crocheting for almost five years) but there are a fair amount of patterns that still confuse me.
