Need hat ribbing

I remember doing this but can't find it in any of my hat patterns! When working a hat from the top down, how do you add ribbing? I did find one way to do it that's rounds of hdc's where you do one in the front post, the next in the back post, and alternate around...but I know there's another way!

Yes, there would be the backloop single crochet ribbing. I believe Dot has a good tutorial on it.
