Hi from Central Indiana

Hello! I just joined this list and would like to introduce myself! I've been crocheting for about 3 years now - my Mom taught me when I was a young girl but I didn't seriously pick it up until a few summers ago. The most recent thing I've done is a felted crochet bag. I also started a blog! Those are really fun....

 

I'm 31, married, and a stay at home Mom with two children. A son in the 6th grade and my daughter just turned 3. I'll be going back to work after she starts school, so I need to cram in all the crochet I can while I still have time! I like to crochet a variety of things including purses, afghans, ponchos, sweaters, vests, toys, dishcloths - just about anything. I live in central Indiana - SW of Indianapolis where Fall is upon us and we are having much cooler nights.

 

I'm a Crazed Yarnie and have a stash to rival that of Hobby Lobby, Jo-Ann's and Michael's combined. I hope to meet lots of other hookers and make some wonderful friends.

 

Thanks! I'm off to figure out how to sew the pocket onto this felted bag - then to post pictures on the blog....

I am a newbie at this & not all that sure what I am doing but I felt that I needed to try something new in my life.

I have been crocheting for 35 years. Luckily my Mother never gave up on me. I like to do all sorts of crafts but crochet is pretty much #1.

Yes, I know where Nineveh is...it's about 45 -60 minutes from me in a pretty part of Indiana....what a small world!
