OK, I must admit it that I really LOVE the popular "Coming Home - MARTHA STEWART" poncho.

I used 10 skeins of Lilac Heathers from Lion Brand Yarn, their special edition yarn imported from Swizerland - 100% Wool. Unfortunately, they don't make it anymore . I purchased these 10 skeins in the mid-1990's and saved it till I finally found a pattern I wanted make. So, when I saw the "Coming Home" pattern, I knew then that it was what I FINALLY wanted to crochet using the imported yarn. Oh, and I used double-skein throughout and larger hook on this project. I'm ALWAYS changing patterns!

I made another one of this pattern only MUCH, MUCH larger to cover my rear-end and used a double-skein throughout and a large crochet hook. It's a very heavy poncho! I'll be sure to post a pic when I have a chance.
