Hey everyone, I'm one of the latest crocheters to join to date. I was first taught to crochet by my grandmother and mother when I was young and picked up the hooks again about 18 months ago. I've made quite a few things to date and right now I'm working on a chocolate brown shrug (which I hope works since I'm not following a pattern and I can make a mess of the simplest designs :lol ). Recently I've made coin purses and hacky sacks for friends, and one of my first (and favourite) projects was a 36" x 60" blanket for my boyfriend.

I've been browsing some of the projects on here and think they're wonderful. It's nice to see so many talented people who share my hobby :hook

Hey there! I can relate with you, When I was 6ish..my grandma "tried" to teach me to crochet and all I wanted to do was make really long chains. I bought my first set of crochet hooks a little over a year ago and have been slowly teaching myself.
