Hi,

 

My name is Annie Modesitt. I'm a hand knit and crochet designer and live in South Orange, NJ (outside of NYC).

 

I've lurked in the forum before, but this is the first time I've registered and posted! Sometimes time seems so short to have time to chat - even online!

 

If any of you busy crocheters are interested in submitting a design (or three, or eight...) for a new Crochet Pattern A Day calendar for 2006, I'd love to encourage you to do so!

I look forward to hearing from many of you - and also to becoming more active in these forums! Although I am predominantly a hand knit designer, I started as a crocheter and love the medium for the sculptural opportunities the hook presents!

 

Currently I'm working on about 5 projects: A cloche hat, a chairseat, some wire bracelets and some other small yet-to-be-determined pieces!
