Birthday present, Bible cover/purse

My middle daughter is turning four, and we bought her a Bible. I decided to make her a cover to protect it some. Here's what I came up with. I'm sure you could use something like this just as a purse. I just kind of made it up as I went along (of course I planned the beading before I started), and I used Red Heart for the majority of it and Bernat Boa for the trim.

I really enjoyed making it. I actually got the idea for the little flower and "bursts" around it from a few of Roxycraft's projects. Her little animals and dolls turn out so cute, and I thought that my new four-year-old wouild appreciate that "cute." She'll get it on Monday, so we'll see how she likes it!

Very nice Bible cover....I know your 4 year old will love it. My 3 year old is wanting a Bible like Big Brothers (they each have a bible tote with handles, too). This would be a great idea and it's purple...she would love that. Thanks for showing a picture. I'll have to put that on my to do list.
