Hi all. :wave

 

My name is Susie, but almost everyone calls me either Susie Q, or just plain Q. On this board it is Susieqheart though. Lately, it seems that nearly EVERYONE has been calling me Q, but I will answer to either one. I live in Georgia, about an hour from Atlanta, Ga, give or take. I love Georgia and I am a Southern gal, have been all my life, so what can I say? I came to Georgia because of my job with Gov't and found that I actually love Georgia. I have been here for about 10-11 years now.

 

I am 41 yrs. old, but I have a birthday this month, November. I will be a whopping 42 years old. Sometimes I can hardly believe that so much time as flown by. Where did all the time go?? ACTUALLY... I'll be 42 yrs. old in only three days from now. My b-day is on 24 November.

I'm a newbie to your website here, but I am not a newbie to crochet at all. I learned to crochet when I was 13 years old and have been crocheting ever since. I find crocheting to be very relaxing and just a great stress reducer. Don't you gals/guys? **Gee... it just dawned on me that I've been crocheting now for darn near 30 years. My how times flies!

** Boy, I AM gettin' old, aren't I? :bang

 

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi to all and introduce myself, so, HELLO EVERYONE!

 

I hope that you ALL have a very safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

Don't feel bad... I'm 43 - will be 44 in January. *gasp* :sweat We aren't getting older... we're getting better... at crocheting! :idea

Hi all.... thanks for the great welcome, I really do appreciate it alot! I also hope to visit as often as I can, I like to chat on adult messageboards like this. And I don't mean ADULT PORNO BOARDS... I MEAN... being able to actually chat, talk about crochet and patterns, and all that girl's stuff. I am ready for some grown-up chats and discussions, with other adults. Adults that actually have a brain and common sense. Ya know?

 

Lately I've been so busy because I am trying to finish up all the orders that I've had for poncho's and shawls. I was so totally swamped only two weeks ago, but have finally managed to get it all worked down to only two orders.

 

Yea!... Hooray for Susie Q!

Seriously, these shawls and poncho's are just so popular right now it is absolutely crazy, isn't it? Don't you all agree? BUT... I can't really complain too much, swamped or not, because all of these orders mean extra cash is Q's pocket, which is ALWAYS a great deal Haha!

 

I have two orders to get finished up... THEN I have to start on all of my Christmas Projects. I'm telling ya... there is just no time to breathe around here, not during this time of year anyway? I will literally be working my behind off from this next week, up until right at Christmas. I just hope that I can get everything done by then. I hate to mail my Pkgs. late.. don't you?

 

Just never a dull moment here in Georgia... BELIEVE ME!
