Hi! My name is Lani, and my friend Nola told me about this board!

 

I'm fairly new to crocheting. My mom taught both my brother and I when we were younger. He kept it up and makes some awesome afghans and stuff (I should invite him to join. . .). When he came to visit me, my DH, and my newborn son (born 1 September), he retaught me!! I made 2 dishcloths while he was visiting, and now I'm working on a simple (but LARGE) afghan for my DH.

 

My first true love in crafts is cross stitching, but I really enjoy crocheting, too, now that I've picked it up, and I hope to learn more than just a plain double crochet! :rotfl
